What exactly am I downloading?
A PDF containing the full Sparkd card deck (123 cards) and a rules sheet. Print at home, cut the cards out, and play. That's it.
What paper or card stock should I use?
200–300gsm card stock gives the best feel and durability. Regular printer paper works fine if that's what you have — there's no wrong way to print it.
Does it work for A4 and US Letter?
Yes. The download includes both A4 and US Letter formats so you can print on whatever paper size you have.
Do I need to print double-sided?
Yes. Cards have a front (task side) and a back. The PDF is set up with fronts on odd pages and backs on even pages — the included instructions walk you through it.
Is this an app?
No. Deliberately screen-free. No login, no account, no notifications, no subscription. You print it once and it's yours.
How is this different from productivity apps?
No streaks, no punishment for stopping, no data collected. You draw a card when you want to, stop when you want to, and the points stay regardless. Built for people who've found apps more punishing than helpful.
Is this suitable for ADHD?
It's designed with executive dysfunction in mind — task initiation, decision fatigue, difficulty with transitions. Not a clinical tool, but the mechanics are specifically built to reduce the activation cost of starting.
Do I need to buy anything else to play?
No. The download includes everything you need. A pen or pencil for the blank cards is the only optional extra.
